Wishing everyone a blessed new year 2008!
No public holiday for us here in Israel because they only follow the jewish calendar and holidays. So our next coming holiday is Passover in April 20. In case you are wondering why Good Friday is on March 20 in the English calendar and Passover is April 20, I think it's because the lunar calendar of the Jews have an extra month every 4 years or something like that.
We are here for 3 months and coming end march we will be back in spore for 1-2 weeks stay. Very soon....
Thank God that we have found a church here. It's the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Old Jaffa. It's a small church with abt 30 people. There's a very nice big organ which plays beautiful music during the service. We met another spore couple there. They are on 1 year attachment here.
The Saturday which just passed we didn't go to church because I was down with a virus infection. Since last wednesday I have this headache and last thur and fri night I was having fever. Till today, my headache is still here but less painful. So I should be recovering. Pray that I can recover faster and won't infect to joelle and joeanne. Doctor says that 5 days and it should be ok. No medicine given. I am given 3 days MC. I wanna recover faster so that I can go back to work. Lots of things to do. Oh ya, Joelle is growing her upper central incisor tooth. Only see 1 currently. The other should be appearing soon. She can also sway her body left and right when she hears music. So cute!!!
